About GameBoy Advance SP
The Gameboy Advance SP is the latest addition to the GameBoy family. It
has a flip-up screen and is much smaller than the Gamebody Advance and the older Gameboy systems. The Advance
SP also has a front-lit screen and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. It is comfortable to hold, even for large hands.
Our opinion:
The game selection for the GameBoy Advance is great and getting better,
so if you're a first time GBA player, don't worry about software choice,
as there is a plenty. Also, if you are a first time GBA buyer, the Gameboy Advance SP is
definitely the version to get, despite being a little more expensive
than the regular model.
Gameboy Advance SP System Specifications
This table is a comparison of the differences and advantages of Gameboy Advance SP over the
regular Gameboy Advance. As you will see, apart from the nifty folding, the rechargeable battery, the backlit LCD display and the missing
headphone jack, there's isn't much. Of course the Gameboy SP is nicer looking and smaller.
